From Kalki Koechlin to Amy Jackson: Bollywood celebrity couples who embraced parenthood before getting married

Concepts like live-in-relationships are slowly but gradually becoming a part of Indian society and Indian culture. Although many still consider getting married before moving in together or having a kid a taboo, many Bollywood celebrities are setting examples by embracing parenthood even before taking their nuptial vows.

Kalki Koechlin took everyone by surprise after she announced her pregnancy in an interview with a daily. The actress who is already five months into her pregnancy is currently on cloud nine. Earlier this month, Kalki had made her relationship with boyfriend Guy Hershbegr official. Guy is an Israeli classical pianist.

She also shared a picture of herself flaunting her baby bump on her Instagram with her fans. Dressed in a multi-coloured gown, Kalki looked pretty as a peach in the picture. She captioned it as, ‘Relieved I can let that bump hang free after months of stuffing it into costumes which fit me at the beginning of shoot schedules in July but were not so easy to zip up by mid-September! And kudos to my style saviours for coming up with innovative ways to cover it up!’

After announcing her engagement with boyfriend George Panayiotou, she soon shared the news of her pregnancy with her fans on Instagram. Amy treated her fans with some stunning pictures of herself where she was seen flaunting her baby bump in style throughout her pregnancy. On September 23, she delivered a baby boy and named him as, ‘Andreas’.

According to reports, Amy and George are planning to get married in Greece once their adorable munchkin turns a few months old. The couple has also reportedly locked a location with a beachside venue for their 2020 wedding.

Arjun Rampal, who is already a father of two adorable daughters – Myra and Mahikaa, became a father for the third time, but this time with his girlfriend Gabrielle Demetriades. After separating with wife Mehr Jessia, Arjun moved on with his girlfriend.

The actor made their relationship official on Instagram, at the same time announcing the arrival of their first child together. In July this year, Gabrielle gave birth to their baby boy whom they have now named Arik Rampal.

Veteran actress Neena Gupta who had an affair with West Indies cricketer Vivian Richards got pregnant with their first child together. However, their relationship did not last long and Vivian chose to live with his first wife over her.

Neena raised her daughter Masaba alone as a single parent. Today, Masaba is a popular fashion designer.
