First innings behind the camera
Before stepping into acting, Sharvari had worked as an assistant director on projects such as 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2', 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety'. She spent time catching hold of the business of production in and out of the frame, gaining experience about the film world.
Early passion for acting
Sharvari has always nurtured a passion for acting long before she arrived in the Bollywood circuit. In school, she took part in theatre activities and many cultural events where she acted in numerous plays to demonstrate her creativity. These experiences early on helped her build her dream of someday acting professionally.
Years of auditions
Wagh's road to fame wasn’t overnight. She had auditioned for about six years, undergone hundreds of auditions, and was rejected regularly. But finally, she bagged her first acting credit with ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2‘. Sharvari’s story shows that dedication and patience are essential for every successful Bollywood career.
Dancing as a fitness routine
In addition to acting, Sharvari is also trained in dancing. She still dances today whilst also adding to her fitness some strength training. Pilates and Yoga are included in her routine too. Overall, she makes it a priority to be diligent with her work ethic and health.
Political roots
Sharvari Wagh hails from a well-known Maharashtrian family. Her maternal grandfather, Manohar Joshi, was the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Her family history is culturally groundbreaking and politically interesting.
