'Gangubai Kathiawadi': Alia Bhatt and Shantanu Maheshwari's chemistry beautifully blends with Shreya Ghoshal's soulful voice in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Jab Saiyaan'

While we match our steps to Alia Bhatt’s ‘Dholida’ from her highly anticipated film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, the makers dropped the most special number ‘Jab Saiyaan’ today. Sung by Shreya Ghoshal, and composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the lyrics of the beautiful track have been penned by AM Turaz.

Along with this melodious ballad, Sanjay Leela Bhansali also introduces actor ‘Shantanu Maheshwari’ who plays a pivotal role in the film.‘Jab Saiyaan’ is a soulful number reminding you about your first love, and that has been showcased between Alia and him.
Shreya Ghoshal who considers this as one of her favorite numbers from the film says, "Jab Saiyaan is one of the most different compositions by Sir. It's always a learning experience for me every time I work with him. 20 years of my musical career and I have to thank him for believing in me and giving me my debut".
She also added, "He's a magician who truly understands the art of filmmaking and music. I am so happy that I am a part of his Gangubai Kathiawadi journey as well. ‘Jab Saiyaan’ is definitely a song that will make everyone fall in love once again!"
