Happy New Year: Shah Rukh Khan and gang celebrate an early new year

A fashion show and dance and music performances marked the launch of the trailer of Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd’s film Happy New Year, which releases worldwide this Diwali in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Director Farah Khan was present along with the entire cast of the film — Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah and Jackie Shroff. “There are three essential elements in the film — dance, music and glamour...we will present to you all,” said Shah Rukh, ahead of the trailer launch.

Music directors Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani performed on a specially created version of the song, Indiawaale. This was followed by a fashion show by Manish Malhotra, with the cast walking the ramp. Farah said, “The film has everything that it takes to make a quintessential Bollywood film, but the most important element here is hope. Even if you lose, don’t let that bring you down.” Shah Rukh added, “This film is dedicated to losers. It is about the biggest heist involving six losers and one mission. Most importantly, the film is as happy as the title is.”
