Here's how Shahid Kapoor spent his time on the sets of 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu'

Shahid Kapoor is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' along with Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam. The trailer and the songs of the film have created a good amount of buzz among the audience.

According to recent reports, during the shooting of the film Shahid Kapoor spent his free time on the sets of the film in a unique way. Reportedly, Shahid along with his co-star Shraddha Kapoor decided to go out and look around the city.
The two actors went fishing at the Tehri lake. Reportedly, Shahid even managed to hook a big fish. However since the actor is a pure vegetarian, he quickly released the fish back into the water.
Directed by Shree Narayan Singh 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' also stars Yami Gautam and Divyendu Sharma. The film is a lighthearted but impactful social drama that every Indian citizen will relate to. The movie is slated to release on 21st September.
