Jackky Bhagnani and Juno Chopra had recently announced the remake of
Ravi Chopra's ‘The Burning Train’ and seems like the team has started casting too. According to a Filmfare report,
Hrithik Roshan is being considered to play the lead in this film. “Juno and Jackky have decided to approach Hrithik Roshan for the remake. They are keen to have him on board as they feel that he will take this film to another level.
The film's planning was in full progress but due to the corona pandemic, the project is now on a standstill. As soon as the lockdown is removed, the producers will have a meeting with Hrithik Roshan,” a source was quoted by the portal.
‘The Burning Train’ hit the screens in 1980 and featured an ensemble cast of Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Vinod Khanna, Hema Malini, Parveen Babi,
Neetu Singh, Vinod Mehra and
Danny Denzongpa.
This is not the first remake Hrithik is being associated with. Previously reports suggested that Hrithik had been roped in to essay the lead role in ‘Satte Pe Satta’ remake, which would be directed by
Farah Khan, however there has been no confirmationon the same.
