Rise to stardom with 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai'
Hrithik Roshan became one of Bollywood’s biggest stars. He is often called the “Greek God of Bollywood.” His breakthrough came with Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai. The film turned him into an overnight sensation.
Hrithik Roshan's early film appearances
Hrithik Roshan continued to appear in small roles during his childhood. He was seen in films like 'Aap Ke Deewane', 'Aas Paas', 'Aasra Pyaar Da', and many more.
'Bhagwaan Dada' is often remembered as a notable performance.
The 'Krrish' actor shared about his dancing journey in an interaction with IANS in 2023. Hrithik said: "I've been terrible in partner work. I feel relaxed when it's just me, but when it's partner work, there is a certain synchronising and coordinating, there's beauty in that. I have never been able to achieve that. I am very fascinated with Ballet. Just the long lines, the expanse and flight of it."
He also shared his experience of training in ballet for Guzaarish. He recalled: "I had the opportunity in Guzaarish to train in the dance form and it was an incredible experience. It was like a ball and I was holding the ball and swirling. During the take, I was not able to get three turns - you know, the pirouettes. Finally, after two hours, we had lunch, and then we tried again. In a single take, somehow it happened."
On the work front, he was last seen in 'War 2'. Directd by Ayan Mukerji, the film is the sixth instalment in the YRF Spy Universe after 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'War', 'Pathaan', and 'Tiger 3'. Apart from Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, the film also stars Ashutosh Rana and Kiara Advani in key roles.
