passed away in London on Friday but her death did not go unnoticed in Bollywood as well. Pakistan-born actress
Humaima Malick took to twitter to show her respect for the departed legend. '#RestInPeace Shamim Ara, another legend up in stars,' she wrote on the microblogging site.
Ara is one of the most popular Pakistani actresses from the yesteryears. Her performances in films like 'Pal Do Pal', 'Lakhon Mein Ek' and 'Salgira' not only won her hearts of film lovers in the country but also earned her four prestigious Nigar Awards. The actress had been living in London and was in a coma since 2010 following a brain surgery.
