India fashion week to feature 44 designers

new delhi: leading models like aditi gowitrikar, diandra soares, jesse randhawa, nina manuel, rahul dev, rajat raina and zulfi sayeed will showcase designs by 44 designers in the india's largest fashion and business event -- lakme india fashion week 2001. organised by the fashion design council of india (fdci), the week-long event beginning on august 2, 2001 would witness designers like jattin kochhar, j j valaya, monisha jaising, ritu kumar, rocky s and tarun tahiliani unveil their latest dress collections."this year again, we have brought together on a single platform, india's who's who in the fashion and creative arena," executive director fdci sameer nair said in a statement on wednesday.
