Unlike his contemporaries, Bobby Deol is one actor who’s known to be introvert and extremely shy. However, the actor says that he got along really well with his co-star
Irrfan Khan. Together they worked in Chamku, the Priyanka Chopra starrer that released in 2008. Later in 2011, the duo shot for Anees Bazmee’s Thank You. The multi-starrer film also featured actors like Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, Suniel Shetty and Celina Jaitley.
Speaking about his former co-star Bobby says, “We worked together in two films and got along well. He was very down to earth, very humble. Everybody was hoping and praying for his recovery, but he left us. It’s a big loss to the industry.”
Sharing a few memories from the last film they worked together on, Bobby says,” I have fond memories of Irrfan. He loved playing cricket. During the shoot of Thank You in Vancouver, we would go to the tennis court every evening and play cricket using tennis balls. Even his older son (Babil) would play with us. I wish I could meet him in his last days.”
