It’s Golmaal again

The biggest laugh fest is coming back on Diwali
It’s Golmaal again
The comedy season continues in Bollywood with the Dhilin Mehta-Rohit Shetty film Golmaal 3 promising to be a big ticket venture this Diwali. Rohit, who is currently shooting the third part of his comedy in Goa, said, “I don’t know whether it will be the funniest film of the season.
But this is the first Bollywood film franchise that goes into a third part and we’re set for a place in the Limca Book of Records.’’ After the success of the Golmaal franchise and All The Best, Rohit believes comedies can never go out of fashion.

“Each of us feels the need to be entertained and a good laugh is absolutely priceless,’’ he said.
He’s happy to associate with Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd and also excited that the cast — Mithun Chakraborty, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu and Ratna Pathak Shah — is made up of actors whose comic timing is perfect. “What’s also in favour of Golmaal 3 is that most of them have been part of the earlier two films and so there is a genuine bond with this franchise. We know we have a good script on hand and it is up to each of us to give this film our best,” Rohit added. Mithun, Ratna and Johnny Lever are added attractions to this laughter riot. Mithun said he can’t help but smile at the goofiness of the entire project. And Kareena is positive she can count on this film. “It will bring the house down,’’ promised Bebo.
For Ajay, his best friend and favourite actor, Rohit has planned a never before seen avatar. Just like Karan Johar styles Shah Rukh Khan, Rohit has given Ajay a rugged hair style and an amazingly toned, tattooed torso using celebrity stylist Aalim’s help. While Navin Shetty styles the costumes for Ajay, Arshad, Tusshar, Shreyas and Kunal. Meanwhile, the cast and crew are having a gala time shooting in Goa. Music composer Pritam, one of Bollywood’s big draws, is giving Golmaal 3 his zaniest numbers. “With so much going for us, let’s hope we create a dhamaka this Diwali too,’’ said Rohit.
