‘Janam janam’ from ‘Dilwale’: Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol do a Raj Kapoor-Nargis

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol make one of the most romantic on-screen pairs Hindi cinema has ever seen. Ever since the release of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, whenever both of them came together for a film, cinema lovers showered them with all the love.

20 years have passed since the release of DDLJ. Shah Rukh is 50 and Kajol is in her early forties, but their magic hasn’t faded at all.
With a new song, ‘Janam janam’, from their latest film, Dilwale, SRK and Kajol are here to charm their fans all over again. In a portion of the song, SRK-Kajol are seen under the umbrella even as the showers make the atmosphere all the more romantic. The scene instantly reminds us of Raj Kapoor and Nargis in Shree 420. Another scene shot in a ballroom takes us back to the memory lane, as it bears a striking resemblance to ‘Rukja oh dil deewani’ from DDLJ.
‘Janam janam’ has been sung by Arijit Singh, while its music has been composed by Pritam.
