Javed Akhtar heaps praise on Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani writer Ishista Moitra!

'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' has emerged as a money spinner and has already crossed the 100 crore mark globally. And apart from the actors and the director, the writer of the film is also getting a lot of attention from one and all. Writer Ishita Moitra is currently enjoying her moment in the sun.In a recent interview, she opened up about the most amazing responses she has received from the industry.
Ishita told News18 recalled that Shabana Azmi introduced her to her husband the legendary Javed Akhtar and apparently he was keen to compliment her work. Javed told Ishita that she has no idea how well she has written 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. The writer then went to tell Javed Akhtar that she has been a fan of his work for many years, to which the writer said that the tables have turned. Ishita also revealed that her husband secretly took a photo of her chatting with Javed Akhtar.
Ishita has also been getting a lot of praise for loud and bashy dialogues mouthed by Ranveer Singh in the film. The writer remarked that even Ranveer reached out to her and said ‘we did it’. Adding more she stated that there couldn’t have been a better actor than Ranveer to bring her dialogues to life, had anyone else played the role her dialogues would have become caricaturish.
Directed by Karan Johar, 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' hit the screens on July 28.
