Shah Rukh Khan has officially announced the final release date for his and Suhana Khan’s upcoming action-thriller film ‘KING.’ While the date is set near the end of 2026, fans cannot wait to catch glimpses of their favourite star in a completely new ensemble. Here are some great action-packed movies from Shah Rukh Khan that you can binge-watch on OTT until then.

In recent years, ‘Jawaan’ has managed to become one of Shah Rukh Khan’s most iconic films. The film centres on Azad, a jailer who leads a team of skilled female inmates from the jail he works at to carry out missions against the corrupt. His mysterious past and questionable tactics are later revealed to be a way to clear his father, Vikram Rathore’s name. The film is available for all on Netflix.

A classic and timeless addition to SRK’s filmography, the ‘Don’ franchise helped the actor in establishing his footing in the industry. It also helped the star break away from the romantic boy-next-door roles as well. The premise of the film begins with a DCP recruiting Vijay’s help in bringing down a mafia boss who looks exactly like him. Things go awry once the inspector dies and Vijay is left on his own. The films are there for streaming on Prime Video.

‘Raees’, released in 2017, exactly 9 years ago today, is another film to watch out for before ‘KING’ releases in theatres. It is set in the 1980s in Fatehpur, Gujarat, and follows Raees, a bootlegger who has been involved in the world of crime from a young age. As he grows older, more influential and powerful, he seeks to do well by his community; however ends up falling into a political trap that unravels his whole life. ‘Raees’ is streaming on Netflix and Apple TV.

This is another SRK film that presents a more unique take on the thriller genre and takes a more psychological turn. The film follows Gaurav, a man who is obsessed with superstar Aryan Khanna. When he travels all the way to Mumbai to meet him, he is met with dismissal. Following this, he uses his similarities to the actor to ruin his life and make the public hate the once beloved star, no matter the cost. The film is available on Netflix for watching.

One of the first Indian films to feature a proper superhero, ‘Ra.One’ is another iconic addition to this list, and something you need to watch before ‘KING.’ The story follows a game developer who creates a game from which the hero and the villain come into the real world. This happens after his son challenges Ra.One in the game world. While the developer is killed, his lookalike, the hero from the game, is tasked with taking care of his family and saving the world from the villain. The film is available on Prime Video and ZEE5.
