Jha makes Deepika slog for dal-roti

Poor Deepika Padukone, her Aarakshan director Prakash Jha made her realise the full import of the phrase ‘working for daal roti,’ on the sets recently.
The scene required Deepika who plays Saif Ali Khan’s love interest in the film, to roll out rotis.
Deepi, who is a novice when it comes to matters culinary, was at odds, holding the rolling pin awy from her body as if it was a detonator.
It was left to her director to show her the way, even as Saif tried his best to control his laughter.
