With hits like ‘Daraar’ and ‘Bol Radha Bol’ to their credit,
Rishi Kapoor and
Juhi Chawla are counted among Bollywood’s most popular jodis. The two are all set to feature together in another film, and according to Juhi, she has noticed a major change in Rishi’s working style.
According to the actress, whenever they worked together in the 80s and 90s, Rishi Kapoor would enter the set in the look of his character, deliver his lines and then move on to the set of another film.
Those days, she recalled, they would all be juggling multiple projects, and were constantly on their toes.
However, Juhi said that during the script reading of their yet-untitled film (it couldn’t go on floors, as Rishi Kapoor flew off to the US for his treatment), he found her former co-star to be a totally changed person. She recounted how Rishi Kapoor wanted the entire cast to sit together and finish reading the script before beginning to shoot for the film. And guess who Rishi Kapoor had picked up this trait from? None other than
Amitabh Bachchan. Apparently, when Rishi Kapoor and Big B worked together in a film recently, the latter had insisted on a group script-reading session. Needless to say, Chintuji seems to have been impressed with that style of functioning.
