Kamal Haasan is unhappy with Shruti Haasan’s stilettos

Akshay Kumar and Shruti Haasan, who were promoting their Friday release Gabbar Is Back, were walking into a suburban five-star hotel in Mumbai yesterday.
While they were casually chatting, Akshay asked Shruti, who was struggling with her high-heeled shoes, how tall she is. Shruti replied that she is 5 ft 7.5 inches tall.

And before you knew it, she regaled everyone around, including Akki, with an account of how her father, the Tamil legend, Kamal Haasan gets truly irritated every time she wears stilettos, “Appa gets really irritated while walking with me because of my height. At times, he even tells me to walk on the other side and not with him!”
