Kangana Ranaut has generated strong interest among fans. Kangana Ranaut has now started filming 'Queen 2' in South Mumbai. The sequel is directed by Vikas Bahl and the actor has stepped back into the role of Rani.
Kangana Ranaut balancing film and political duties
Reports say that Kangana is currently managing a demanding schedule. She is balancing her work as an actor with her responsibilities as a Member of Parliament. She represents Mandi in Himachal Pradesh. The actor has been travelling frequently between Mumbai and Delhi. Despite the hectic routine, she continues to shoot actively.
Kangana Ranaut's tight schedule
April turned out to be a busy month for Kangana. She moved directly into 'Queen 2' preparations after completing Bharat Bhagya Vidhata. The production team had limited time to prepare. According to Mid Day, “The team had just 20 days to prep. Now, they are shooting in and around Mumbai. The unit is currently filming in Grant Road, where a set depicting the protagonist’s home has been built.”
Vikas Bahl is handling multiple roles on the project. He is working as writer, director, and co-producer. The film is planned on a three-month schedule from start to finish.
The portal adds, “In the last 10 days, Kangana has been flying in and out of the city to attend the Parliament sessions. There have been times when she went to Delhi for the day, came back in the night, and shot till the next morning.”
Kangana Ranaut reflects on 20-year journey
Kangana recently celebrated a milestone in her career. Her debut film 'Gangster' completed 20 years. She shared memories from her early days with fans. She revealed that her first portfolio helped her enter the industry. Sharing a post, she wrote, "Today I completed 20 years in the film industry, this is my first portfolio by @jatinkampani that landed me the role of Simran in Gangster." She also posted another image from her first magazine shoot.
After her debut, Kangana built a diverse filmography. She starred in several notable films, including 'Tanu Weds Manu', 'Fashion' and 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai'. Her performances earned critical acclaim. Most recently, Kangana appeared in 'Emergency'.
