Kangana Ranaut took to the Instagram handle dropped pictures from the sets of her maiden production ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’. Penning down a thank you note for late filmmaker Bimal Roys’ family for giving his rare camera for the shooting, the actress shared her happiness in the post.
She wrote, “This is no ordinary day, today one the sets of Tiku weds Sheru I found a rare gem, Newall camera right from the golden age of Indian Cinema 1950’s and this belonged to one of the greatest directors of all time Shri Bimal Roy ji …”
“As I am all set to direct my second feature film Emergency this is nothing short of a blessing… What a lovely day … Thanks to the family of
Bimal Roy ji to give us this precious gem for filming… thanks @donfernandodp for arranging this …” she added.

‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ features Avneet Kaur and
Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles.
On the work front, she will be next seen in 'Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda', 'Emergency', 'Tejas', and 'The Incarnation: Sita'.
She also has action-flick 'Dhaakad' lined up ahead of her. The film was slated for an April 8, 2022 release, has now been pushed to May 2022. A source close to the development revealed that the makers of 'Dhaakad' are steering away from too many releases in the month of April.
While 'Dhaakad' was not clashing with any major film, the following week Yash's 'KGF: Chapter 2' and Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha' have been lined up for releases.
