Karisma Kapoor was seen in a cameo in
Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Zero’. The actress, who made her debut in the early 90s, has several big hits to her credit and took a backseat in Bollywood after marriage and two children. In a recent interview, she said that today, the Hindi film industry had become more streamlined, bound scripts were given to actors, workshops and rehearsals were held before the shoot to help actors prepare themselves.
She added that back in her time, none of this existed and that today, actresses got better roles. Karisma also said that there was a lot more variety available today when it came to selecting roles.
The actress said that it was a conscious decision not to work after becoming a mother and that she has no regrets about it. She said that although she got offers, she was choosy about what to sign on since her family was her top priority. She added that her family was supportive of her decision.
