all those of you who thought the karisma-madhuri dixit pairing was great in yash chopra's dil toh pagal hai, are going to be sorry to hear this news. apparently, the duo almost worked together in deepak shivdasani's forthcoming film yeh raaste hain pyaar ke. when the director approached karisma to do the second heroine's character, the kapoor initially agreed, but later backed out."i approached karisma," says deepak, "after an initial yes, she later said that she wanted to get married and opted out. finally it was preity zinta who stepped in." incidentally rani mukherjee was also a contender for the role. certainly strange how the cast of a film is finally decided isn't it?
