Kriti Sanon joins Varun Dhawan for post-credit song in ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ - Reports

Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon are set to reunite on screen once again and this fresh report is surely exciting one for fans. The duo, last seen together in ‘Bhediya’, will reportedly feature in a special dance number in ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’. The upcoming comedy is directed by David Dhawan.According to Mid Day, Kriti Sanon will reportedly appear in a cameo role in the Varun Dhawan's film’s post-credit sequence. The duo recently filmed a high-energy dance number which is described as a celebratory finale. The shoot reportedly took place at a Santacruz restaurant named Eve on April 16. The sequence is designed as a vibrant and engaging conclusion to the film. Additionally, the aforementioned report also states that the makers had already planned a glamorous end-credit track. “It was meant to be a fun, youthful track that captures the film’s spirit. Getting Kriti on board was an inspired choice, given her crackling chemistry with Varun in ‘Dilwale’ [2015] and ‘Bhediya’ [2022],” reported the website. “Director David Dhawan wanted it to feel like a celebration, not just for the characters, but also for the audience walking out of the theatre,” as per the portal.The makers recently released the song ‘Vyah Karwado Ji’, which has started gaining attention online. Featuring Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur, the track presents a lively atmosphere with energetic visuals. ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ features Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. Directed by David Dhawan, the film is scheduled to release on May 22. Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan was last seen in the epic actioner 'Border 2' which received decent reviews.
