Kriti Sanon thanks Varun Dhawan for being a ‘crazy entertainer’ as she announces the wrap of ‘Bhediya’

Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan have announced the wrap of their horror entertainer ‘Bhediya’. Penning a note as the film’s shoot was completed, Kriti wrote, “My First Horror Comedy! Been such a fun journey!!! @amarkaushik thank you for giving me such a memorable character, your energy made it all happen!! As you say.. Khelte hain!! @varundvn Thank you for being a great coactor and for being the crazy entertainer YOU as always!”

‘Bhediya’ has been entirely shot during the pandemic.Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon had travelled to Arunachal Pradesh to shoot for the film while a second schedule of ‘Bhediya’ took place in Mumbai amid all the safety precautions. ‘Bhediya’ is written by National Award winner Niren Bhatt and in an interview he had revealed that this film is not about a ‘werewolf’. He had told PTI in an interview, “Bhediya is a visual film. We created so many visuals, this is how the creature would look and this is how the conversion would happen. We have tried to create a film which would stand out internationally in this genre. The effort was to create something unique and path breaking. It is not a werewolf film, it is a completely different genre that we are trying to define in Hindi cinema."
Bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan, 'Bhediya' also stars Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal in pivotal roles. The makers are planning to release this horror comedy in theatres on April 14, 2022.
