Rajkummar Rao who is busy promoting the upcoming
Diwali release '
Made In China' says that he took inspiration from his real-life experience while shooting for Mikhil Musale directorial. Rajkummar will be seen essaying the role of a businessman named Raghu Mehta. His character Raghu faces a language barrier when he lands in China for his business. When the director narrated him the scenes Rajkummar told Mikhil about his real experiences that he faced during road trips. After listening to a few incidents the director decided to incorporate those in the film.
In a statement, the actor said that he had faced various issues during his trip. Talking to the local people and explaining them where he wanted to go or simply hailing a cab was extremely difficult.
Rajkummar is always in a search of unconventional characters. For this role, he had to gain eight kgs. He took inspiration from Mikhil and also sported unibrow.
The film depicts the story of a Gujarati entrepreneur Raghu Mehta and his ‘jugaadu’ business journey.
Mouni Roy portrays the role of his wife Rukmini. Apart from Rajkummar and Mouni, the film also features Gajraj Rao,
