Mamta Kulkarni drug case: Thane police to investigate Bollywood insiders

The latest developments in Mamta Kulkarni's drug racket case has brought many industry insiders under suspicion. According to the recent update, Thane Police will investigate some people from Bollywood regarding their connection with Mamata Kulkarni and her husband, Vicky Goswami.
Previously the Thane police had probed the Rs 2,000-crore drug bust and stated to issue a red-corner notice against Vicky.Now the police claims to have sent over a request to the Interpol for a red corner notice against Mamta through CBI, verifying her bank accounts and investments.
The racket first came to light after the Thane police arrested a Nigerian in a drug case on April 18. The arrest led them to a shed of Avon Lifesciences in Solapur MIDC from where they recovered 22 tonnes of ephedrine.
