Veteran actor Manoj Kumar will be discharged from hospital next week. The actor who underwent a gall bladder surgery on Wednesday was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital on July 18 after abdominal pain.
Informing about the actor's health, his son Kunal Goswami told TOI, " He is doing well and is likely to be discharged from the hospital on Monday or Tuesday.''
Manoj Kumar has to his credit 55 films as an actor and 7 films as director.
Some of his films are
Shaheed, Upkar Hariyali Aur Raasta, Do Badan, Purab Aur Paschim, Kranti and
Roti Kapda Aur Makaan. He is known for acting in and directing films with patriotic themes, and has been given the nickname "Bhaarat Kumar". In 1992, he was honoured with the Padma Shri.
