The upcoming romantic drama from
Aamir Khan Productions has been officially titled ‘Mere Raho.’ The movie features
Junaid Khan and
Sai Pallavi in lead roles. The release date for the film has been set for December 12, 2025, bringing an end to months of speculation. The project is directed by Sunil Pandey and produced by Mansoor Khan alongside Aamir.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the X handle to share the details about the film. He wrote, "AAMIR KHAN - MANSOOR KHAN REUNITE: SAI PALLAVI - JUNAID KHAN STARRER GETS NEW TITLE + NEW RELEASE DATE... #MereRaho is the new title of the film starring #SaiPallavi and #JunaidKhan... Also, the film is now slated for release on 12 Dec 2025. Directed by #SunilPandey and produced by #AamirKhan and #MansoorKhan, the film marks a special reunion—with #Aamir and #Mansoor collaborating after 17 years, following the much-loved #JaaneTuYaJaaneNa."
Previous title and release schedule
Earlier, the film was called ‘Ek Din’ and was supposed to release on November 7, 2025. This could have clashed with Ikkis, the debut film of Agastya Nanda, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson. Now, with the new announcement, ‘Mere Raho’ will have its own release date in December without any clash.
Film setting and Junaid Khan’s career
‘Mere Raho’ is set in the beautiful winter scenery of Japan and features the famous Sapporo Snow Festival. Most of the shooting took place there in early 2024. Although the team faced some delays due to unexpected snowfall, they worked hard to finish on time, allowing the post-production to go smoothly. ‘Mere Raho’ is Junaid Khan’s third acting project and his second movie to be released in theaters. He first appeared on OTT in YRF’s ‘Maharaj,’ which got good reviews, while his first film, ‘Loveyapa,’ had a quieter response. Acting with Sai Pallavi, this movie is expected to be an important step in Junaid’s career.
