Reports of allegation against
Sushant Singh Rajput of sexual misconduct and misbehaviour with his ‘Kizzie Aur Manny’ co-star
Sanjana Sanghi have been doing the rounds on the internet for quite some time now. Sushant not only denied all such allegations but also said that it was a smear campaign to malign his name.
Sanjana, who was yet to issue a statement on the same, recently took to her
Instagram handle to share a post stating all the stories of sexual misconduct and misbehaviour as baseless.
She also said that no such incident ever took place on the sets of ‘Kizzie Aur Manny’.
Sushant had then put out screenshots of conversations between him and Sanjana, trying to clear his name.
Mukesh Chhabra too had tweeted in support of the actor. He wrote, “I totally stand by @itsSSR – no such incident happened on the sets and let’s not have a Twitter trial and make an innocent person suffer for somebody else’s ulterior motives I had clarified this on twitter long back and I still maintain it.”
For the uninitiated, Sanjana had reportedly alleged that her co-star Sushant made her very uncomfortable on the sets of their film ‘Kizzie Aur Manny’. According to her, the actor would often invade her personal space and would pass flirtatious comments. His overtly friendly nature had the actress report the matter to Mukesh Sir, who brushed it away as usual behaviour seen in the industry.
