The #MeToo movement got momentum in India post
Tanushree Dutta's allegations on
Nana Patekar for sexually harassing her on the sets of 2008 film 'Horn OK Pleass'. The allegations created stir in Bollywood. The movement without restricting itself to Bollywood, also surfaced all over. Accordingly, female journalist named
Nishtha Jain accused a veteran journalist Vinod Dua of stalking and sexually harassing her.
Vinod Dua who happen to be
Mallika Dua's father, also runs a show. So he finally addressed the accusations against him and called the allegations as Muck on the show.
On his show, he said that this muck/allegation of sexually harassing someone can be thrown at anyone, be it a pope, a judge, a lawyer, a priest, an innocent man or a doctor…. Therefore he dismisses the allegations against him as they are baseless and the figment of someone’s imagination. Nothing like this has happened.
Vinod Dua not only responded on the allegations made on him, but also he made a mockery of the movement with his statement.
