Success however has not come easy for this talented actor who had to bide his time doing fringe roles before he shot to limelight with a stupendous performance, playing a psychopathic villain in Vennela.
With the success of Gamyam, he's been getting many offers, which the actor politely declined.He has now agreed to play the lead in Nalai Namade, a Tamil film being directed by Vinayan.
Interestingly enough, the film is being produced by a leading charitable organisation, which runs an orphanage in Chennai. The filmmakers say the film is a based on the plight of orphans in the city. The profits from the film, it is said, will also go towards funding the orphanage. All for a noble cause, it seems ... very filmi, but sweet!
