Mona Singh admires Aamir Khan for taking responsibility for Laal Singh Chaddha failure: 'Ofcourse, it hurt'

Mona Singh, who has worked with Aamir Khan twice, for ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ calls the actor extremely intelligent! She calls herself lucky to have had the opportunity to work with him twice. The actress recently opened up about her experience working with Aamir Khan.

In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Mona Singh recalled filming with Aamir Khan and how she would approach him with ‘bizarre questions’. She divulged that when on sets, she is very inquisitive and keeps asking him ‘bizarre questions’ like why something is important in the script, and why something is a particular way. She also added that she would ask Aamir, as the actor is ‘so intelligent’ and he knows it all! She also stated that Aamir Khan is ‘clear and sorted’ and that she respects him a lot.

Mona Singh further expressed that she feels lucky to have received the opportunity to work with Aamir Khan twice.

The actress also recalled how Aamir Khan was ‘hurt’ after the failure of Laal Singh Chaddha. She also spoke about how the superstar hosted a party to celebrate the hard work of the team, despite its failure. She also added that she admires the actor for taking responsibility for the failure.


Mona Singh further spoke about how she felt sad for a few days for its failure but then moved on. She also acknowledged that the film received so much love after it started streaming on social media.
