A senior police officer informed HT on Sunday night that while the post was deemed a hoax, the police did not take any chances. The post made by an X user with the handle @FFSFIR, wrote, "A shameless thought crept into my mind that if a bomb went off at Ambani's wedding, half the world would turn upside down. Trillions of dollars in one pin code." This prompted the police to intensify security around the wedding venue after being alerted by a concerned netizen.

According to reports, the police are currently trying to identify the person behind the post and determine their motive. While no FIR has been registered, the police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
A police officer was quoted saying to the portal, "The message has been taken as a hoax but the police team, which monitors social media posts, will definitely look into it."
Enhanced security measures were in place at the Jio World Convention Centre and the surrounding area in BKC to prevent any untoward incidents.

In another incident concerning the wedding, the Police arrested two individuals for entering the venue without an invitation. Venkatesh Narasaiya Alluri (26), a YouTuber, and Lukman
Mohammad Shafi Sheikh (28), who identified himself as a businessman, were apprehended after being spotted acting "suspiciously" by security officers. Both men were taken to a local police station and booked. However, they were later released after being given legal notices.
