The movie is about the colourful journey of a visually-impaired yet spirited boy and his loving sister who travel across Rajasthan to get his eyesight back. Elated with the response at the screenings, producer Manish Mundra says. 'The children's joy knew no bounds, and we at Drishyam Films feel proud to have brought smiles on so many innocent faces.' Heartened by the screening, Nagesh says, 'I have mentored many children over the years in collaboration with these NGOs, so for me, it was a very special moment to have these kids watch and enjoy my film.' The producers are now planning another screening in Mumbai in association with local NGOs.
'Dhanak', produced by Manish Mundra, Nagesh Kukunoor and Elahe Hiptoola, releases on June 17.
