Naseeruddin Shah: Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the finest actors

Naseeruddin Shah recently in an interview said that he considers Nawazuddin Siddiqui to be one of the finest actors in the industry. He also spoke about how he envies Nawaz and wished he was as good as the actor when he was young. The veteran actor added that he feels Nawaz is the only actor who has done justice to both commercial and art films.

Flattered by Naseeruddin Shah's praises Nawaz says, 'Being tagged as a particular kind of artiste is not the actor's fault.Although actors like Naseer saab were tagged as 'art films' actors, they did good films. I grew up watching and learning from such movies. I have learnt so much from Naeer saab. His films inspired me.'
