Naseeruddin, Zarina, Aditi and Taha to team up for a historical drama?

Lately, there are lot of historical films creating a buzz in the entertainment industry. Filmmakers are keenly exploring India’s past and unearthing some untold, unexplored heroes from our rich heritage. However, makers of web shows still haven’t explored such projects. For all history lovers, the wait for a historical drama may be fulfilled this year, because a grand project, helmed by prominent faces, is set to hit the floors
The period drama is said to be one of the most expensive productions till date and boasts of top of the line cast and technicians and will be released on OTT platform.The audience too would get to see something with a cast fabulous as this.
As per sources close to the project, this historical drama consists of bollywood names like Naseeruddin Shah, Zarina Wahab, Aditi Rao Hydari, Taha Shah Badussha and Rahul Bose top-lining the show. There are also a number of television and film personalities who will be seen playing pivotal roles. Shoot for the magnum opus will start soon. A lot of work on the sets too would be done to get the right feel.
Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah was last seen in the movie Gehraiyaan, while Aditi Rao Hydari was seen playing a pivotal role in 2021 release ‘the girl on the train’. Rahul Bose was last seen giving a power pact performance in Bachchan Pandey, Jhund and will soon be seen in SRK’s Pathaan and Taha Shah Badussha spread his charm in his last released song Ekk Vari.
