take a true indian. give him power. and what do we get? nayak - the real hero. that's what anil kapoor's latest film puts forth. at the recent press conference held by indiatimes (which has tied up to promote the film) anil kapoor and rani mukherjee, the lead pair of shankar's new film, were bubbling over with enthusiasm as they fielded questions from the press regarding the film as well as their individual careers.
1x1 polls
it was a peppy affair, what with anil kapoor's witty one-liners that kept the audience giggling away. on being asked what his role in the film was, anil replied, "i'm playing a common man who is given power for one day. every true indian will identify with the film as it expresses their deepest feelings." in fact, the audience actually clapped their appreciation after watching clippings from the film - especially the special effect sequences which were superbly shot. rani, who was watching the clipping for the first time, was floored by the special effects. the petite lady also denied the accusation that she was taking up second fiddle roles in hero-centric films. "i think a good film is the true hero. if the film is good, the hero and heroine look good," she replied. the conference was followed by an anil kapoor internet chat on indiatimes, which once again was a huge success.
