Aditi Rao Hydari’s ‘Gajagamini’ walk from the song “Saiyaan Hatto Jaao” from the series 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar' has gone
viral on social media.
Now, Aditi Rao Hydari, who is currently at the Cannes Film Festival, has recreated her 'Gajagamini' walk trend, giving it a twist in a stunning yellow peony print dress.
In the video, we can see the stunning actress walking down the street while savoring ice cream in style and laying her killer eyes on the camera.
"By popular demand," she wrote, followed by a kiss emoji.
Reacting to her post, Aditi's BFF Nayanthara wrote, "Sooooo pretty aduuu," followed by a heart emoji. One fan commented, "Omg, it’s like “Indian Emily in Cannes," exactly like Lily Collins." Another wrote, "Killing with every walk."
In Sanskrit, 'Gajagamini' translates to 'one with the gait of an elephant', suggesting a walk that is dignified and regal, much like the majestic walk of an elephant. This walk symbolizes strength, grace, and femininity and is considered the epitome of seduction.
Recently, in an interview with Connect Cine, Aditi reflected on the viral moment and said Sanjay was very involved in it, along with choreographer Kruti Mahesh.
The actress expressed her gratitude, noting that the brief segment of Thumri, especially the walk, had gone viral on the internet. She hadn't anticipated such a response and mentioned that Sanjay Sir had emphasized the importance of the walk, highlighting his extensive knowledge and deep involvement in creating the song.
