Nick Jonas says Met Gala was the starting of his love story with Priyanka Chopra, the beaming wife reacts

Paying a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, Priyanka Chopra made heads turn at Met Gala 2023 with a Valentino gown with a dramatic ruffled cape and gloves. The actress amped up her look with Bulgari accessories, which included a stunning necklace and ear cuffs. Husband Nick Jonas looked dapper in a Valentino ensemble. Interestingly, Priyanka's entry in the bold gown received the loudest cheers at the Met Gala. Priyanka and Nick arrived hand-in-hand on the red carpet and posed for the photos.

On the red carpet, the duo opened up on their love story and how Met Gala was where things really started. In an interaction with a leading fashion magazine, Nick said that it was the beginning of their love story, 6-7 years ago and look at them now. To this, beaming wife Priyanka added that it was her first Met gala that year and Nick was kind enough to escort her on behalf of Ralph Lauren. Nick also joked that he in fact, was just there to manager her train! (dress).

The Met Gala is hosted on the first Monday of May each year at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Apart from Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt also attended the fashion gala this year. For her debut at the Met Gala, Alia opted for a magnificent white gown embellished with pearls, by designer Prabal Gurung.
