<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">PUNE: Renowned Marathi novelist N S (Na Sa) Inamdar died at his residence here on Wednesday following a heart attack, family sources said. He was 79.<br />Inamdar, born in a village in Satara district, boasted of distinguished literary career and had penned 16 historical novels like <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Shahenshah</span>, <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Jhep</span>, <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Raau</span>, <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Jhunjha</span>, <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Shikasta</span>, <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Mantravegala</span> and <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Rajeshri Inamdari</span>, besides his autobiography running into three volumes.<br />He is survived by wife and a daughter.<br />Inamdar''s body would be kept at Sahitya Parishad to enable people to pay their respects before it is taken to Vaikunth crematorium for the last rites, family sources added.
