Director Payal Kapadia made India proud by winning the prestigious Grand Prix award for her film ‘All We Imagine as Light’ at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. The movie received an eight-minute standing ovation at Cannes, and celebrities across the nation celebrated the win by sharing posts on social media.
Now, one of the leading dairy products brands in India has shared a special post on their official Instagram handle to celebrate Payal Kapadia.

On May 29, they posted a picture of Payal Kapadia receiving the Grand Prix award. The caption read, "Payal Kapadia’s film wins Grand Prix at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival!"
Kamal Haasan, Mammootty, Mohanlal, and more appreciated the team for the glorious win at Cannes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated Payal Kapadia on her achievement.
Payal called this a surreal and joyous experience while addressing the audience. She was accompanied by actresses Kani Kusruti, Chhaya Kadam, and Divya Prabha on stage. The filmmakers expressed the hope that it should not take another 30 years for an Indian movie to make it to Cannes, as her movie is the first Indian film to be screened at the prestigious film festival after a 30-year gap in this category.
