Pranitha Subhash: What leaves the Hungama 2 actress inspired about late Bollywood diva Sridevi

Pranita Shubhash is the newest entrant who’s making her foray from South to Bollywood. The actress who’s been working in regional movies for a decade is now trying her hand in Hindi cinema. She’s looking forward to her debut with comic venture Hungama 2 featuring Shilpa Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Meezaan Jaffrey among others.
In Bollywood, there have been so many actors who have ventured from down south, but there’s one who has left her totally impressed. And that being, the late Bollywood diva Sridevi. She says, “Sridevi maam is one south actress who’s made a wonderful transition from South to Bollywood. And that too irrespective of the fact that she had that accent. This is quite rare.”

Pranitha who’s seen multiple Sridevi starrers, also opens up about her personal favourites. She says, “I enjoyed watching her films like Sadma (1983), and also Chandani (1989). I just loved her performance in these films. I also enjoy watching her songs. With those expressions she gave, she has set a benchmark. Whenever I am free I like to go on the video blogging website and look for her dance numbers.”
With Hungama 2, the actress got an opportunity to bond with co-star Shilpa Shetty. About the actress, she had earlier told BT, “She is absolutely gorgeous. At that age I want to be as pretty, as effervescent, as perfect as her! She is very fitness conscious, I like the way she focuses on yoga and her diet. She is also a livewire.”
