Begum Para’s mysterious character fascinated me.”
The characters of lovesick Khalu and Babban, played by Naseer and Arshad respectively, also struck a chord with the audience. Says Naseer, “All of us expected a favourable response, though it is too soon to celebrate as the paying public has yet to see it. It’s the kind of role I had long given up hope of bagging, and hopefully, it will compensate for my last few films.” Arshad adds, “Khalu and Babban are funny and endearing. Their adventure has been made more interesting by Begum Para and Muniya.”
Huma is the film’s surprise element. She says, “It’s a role I’ve never played before and it challenged me as an actor. I guess all of us just worked hard and gave the film our best.”
