Prithviraj Trailer: Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar’s period drama narrates an epic tale of valour and love

Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar starrer ‘Prithviaj’ trailer paints an epic tale of valour and love. Akshay’s portrayal of a fearless king is aptly supported with promising acts by Sonu Sood as Chand Vardai and Sanjay Dutt as Kaka Kanha respectively. Manushi Chhillar is all set to make an impressive debut with this drama, wherein she essays the role of Prithivaj’s beloved Princess Sanyogita. Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, ‘Prithviaj’ is slated for release next month.

Speaking about the epic drama, Akshay Kumar had shared, "I have been working in the industry for thirty years and I have to say that I haven't seen a historical film of this scale in my career spanning three decades. I felt a sense of accomplishment after portraying the character of such a great man, I would like to thank my director Chandraprakash Dwivedi.”
Urging that Prithviraj Chauhan’s tale should be a part of history books, Akshay had further added, “When we were about to embark on the journey of the film, the director gave me a book on Prithviraj Chauhan. After reading that book I realised how great warrior is Prithviraj Chauhan. It's sad that history books today just have one paragraph on Prithviraj Chauhan. Every kid should know who Prithviraj is and his acts of bravery.” ‘Prithviaj’ is scheduled to hit the big screens on June 3, 2022, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
