An Italian folk song, 'Bella Ciao' has caught the world's attention with the popular Netflix drama series, 'Money Heist'. So, it's not surprising that you see people playing the song or trying to create their own versions of it.
Pulkit Samrat caught his rumoured girlfriend,
Kriti Kharbanda, attempting the tune on her piano. Posting the video, he wrote: "#bellaciao to banta hai! Dhyaan se dekhiye..
dono aankhein khol ke! @kriti.kharbanda."
Interestingly, 'Bella Ciao', meaning Goodbye Beautiful, is not exactly a song of celebration. It is said to be a protest song (check the original song ), and for older generation, it reportedly brings back painful memories of World War II. However, there's been a revival of the song with the Netflix drama and has been covered by various musical groups across Europe over the last three years.
Meanwhile, Kriti-Pulkit seem to be living it up during the quarantine - that is if the pictures on their Insta-accounts are anything to go by. Giving them company is Pulkit's brother, Ullas. From musical evenings to cooking, board games and fitness routines, there doesn't seem to be a dull moment for them. Pulkit's pet husky, Drogo, also can be seen joining the fun.
