Rajesh Khanna's movies still attract cinema lovers

iStream.com, India’s first online video service, saw a huge surge of online viewership of movies of Rajesh Khanna in July 2012. His act in Aradhana and Haathi Mere Saathi still attract cinema lovers and emerged as the most popular flicks of ‘Kaka’.
Based on an analysis of over 10000 views on iStream.com. Aradhana, which paved the actor’s stardom released in 1969, topped the list of most viewed movie of Rajesh Khanna followed by strong fan-following of Haathi Mere Saathi which was the one of the biggest hits of 1971.
Joru Ka Ghulam, showcased Kaka's brilliant comic timing and the amazing chemistry he shared with Om Prakash which was evident from its super hit run at the box office that year. The movie clutches third position. Avishkaar took the number four spot on the countdown of the most watched Rajesh Khanna films on iStream.
The hit pair of Rajesh Khanna and Sharmila Tagore returned to star in this film after Amar Prem in 1972. After blockbuster Anand, Hrishikesh Mukherjee brought Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan together once again on the big screen in Namak Haram in 1973 which holds the fifth spot.
Apna Desh, the super hit film was a remake of the Tamil film "Nam Naadu” captures sixth position on the list of most watched film. Apna Desh was not only a big hit at the box office but it is also cherished for the breath-taking performance of Rajesh Khanna.
At the seventh position stands Mere Jeevan Saathi, the super hit film that saw the return of the trio Rajesh Khanna, RD Burman and Kishore Kumar followed by Sachaa Jhutha, the film which won him the Best actor award at Filmfare in 1970 at the eighth position.
1979's film Dil Daulat Duniya, a comedy drama acquires the ninth position. Out of all his superhit movies, Amar Deep grabs tenth position on the most watched film online. This is the blockbuster marked the return of Rajesh Khanna into the lime light once again after a string of flops over the years.
