Rajpal Yadav, who recently made headlines due to a cheque-bounce case, is now gearing up for the release of his first film after the controversy, Bhooth Bangla. The teaser of the film dropped recently, and one moment that caught everyone’s attention was a scene where Rajpal slaps Akshay Kumar—a reversal that instantly reminded fans of a similar moment from 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa', where Akshay’s character had struck him.
Rajpal spoke about the now-viral scene, revealing that the idea actually came from Akshay himself. He said in an interview with News18 Showsha, “Humara aur Akki paaji ka baal khinchna, chaata maarna, ek dusre par chillana situation ke according ho jata hai. Ye improvisation meri nahi hai, believe me, Akki paaji ki hai, ye unka idea tha. (Our pulling each other’s hair, slapping, and shouting at one another happen naturally according to the situation. This improvisation isn’t mine, believe me, it’s Akki paaji’s idea.)"
He further explained that the concept came up during rehearsals. “Jab hum rehearsal kar rahe the, tab Akki paaji ke dimaag mein aaya ki tu maar, tu rakh de, woh wahan situation par fit tha. Aur bada coordination wala hai humara, ki tu ball aise maar toh main bat aise chalaunga. Believe me, Priyan ji, Akki paaji, Paresh ji aur humara aisa coordination hai ki koi bhi kathin film ho, hum use aasani se utha lete hain because of Priyan ji. (When we were rehearsing, Akki paaji came up with the idea, like ‘you hit, you place it’, and it fit perfectly into the situation. We share great coordination; if you throw the ball a certain way, I’ll play the shot accordingly. Believe me, the coordination between Priyan ji, Akki paaji, Paresh ji, and all of us is such that no matter how difficult the film is, we handle it easily, and that’s because of Priyan ji)," Rajpal shared.
