Rakesh Roshan praises 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' director Aditya Dhar; says film's box office success 'should not be considered as a threat' but 'revolution in storytelling'

Veteran Bollywood filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has joined the chorus of celebrities singing praise of 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' and its director Aditya Dhar. In a social media post, Roshan heaped praise on the director and described his film as a landmark moment for Indian cinema.Sharing his reaction in a social media post, Roshan began his post saying, "I just watched Aditya Dhar's historic Dhurandhar, and it is a reminder to all of us filmmakers to pause and reset the fabric of cinema with the vision, passion and audacity with which Aditya has made Dhurandhar."Moving on to praise the film and its impact on the film industry at large, he said, "He has started a new era in filmmaking!" Calling on other filmmakers in the film industry to view this in a positive light, Roshan added, "This should not be considered as a threat, but a healthy and much-needed revolution in storytelling and entertainment."“It was about time, and Aditya Dhar has delivered beyond expectations! The film that opened to early paid preview shows on Wednesday, March 18, has already crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the worldwide box office. The film has hit an all-India gross total of Rs 267 crore, according to early estimates and has gone on to earn an additional Rs 64 crore from International markets in just 2 days. This has taken its overall collection to an estimated Rs 331 crore.
