Rakeysh Mehra wants to shoot in Pakistan

For his next film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Rakeysh Mehra wants to shoot at bordering towns of India-Pakistan, where Milkha Singh was born and brought up.
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is keen to shoot his film, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag very authentically. Hence he has been putting a lot of time and effort in getting the detailing of the project correct. It is one the biggest biopics that will be made this year.
Now it is a known fact that Milkha Singh was born and brought up in the border towns of Pakistan. Rakeysh is keen to go to the same towns and shoot with Farhan Akhtar who plays Milkha Singh in his film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
However the production team who has been on location hunting spree in the bordering towns of Pakistan and India feel the typography in both states is so close that they would be able to shoot in either places without any issues.
Rakesh Omprakash Mehra says, "Yes we are quiet keen to shoot on the borders of Pakistan to get more authenticity to the film as Milkha was born in one of the towns there. We will be applying for permissions soon".
Farhan Akhtar has devoted all his energies and getting ready to play the Flying Sikh of India. He has been going through rigorous training schedule.
