Rani wants an engagement ring

Rani Mukerji is one of the most eligible bachelorettes in town. So when she talks engagment, our curiosity is piqued. At a diamond jewellery store opening, the actress told us what a jewellery person she was. "I am a girl and I enjoy jewellery - be it earrings, pendant, necklace...I like all kinds of jewellery - gold, silver, precious stones, but my flavour of late is diamonds!"
About her first diamonds, Rani says, "It was a gift from my father. It's not very easy to be able to afford a diamond set very early in your career. So it was dad who gave me my first diamonds - a pendant with matching earrings. Something I'll cherish forever."
On being asked of her engagement plans, Rani said, "It'll happen when it has to. I'm anxious about my engagement ring, and hopefully it'll be studded with diamonds," she said with a glitter in her eyes.
