Remo D’Souza reveals why his next dance film is in 3D

Choreographer-turned-filmmaker Remo D’Souza’s next directorial venture, ‘Street Dancer 3D’, is one of the most awaited films of the coming year. The movie will see Prabhudheva and Varun Dhawan reuniting on screen. It also features Shraddha Kapoor, who has shared screen space with Varun and Prabhudheva in Remo’s previous dance film. Also part of the cast is the ‘Dilbar girl’, Nora Fatehi.

As the name suggests, the film will be made in 3D. And, while the shoot of the movie wrapped up earlier this year, Remo has been working on its post-production for months, as making a 3D film can be a time-consuming affair.

Recently, he talked to a daily about the film. Remo said that dance is a visual medium and so, there is no better way to capture it than in the 3D format. He also said that he wanted the viewers to see dance in three dimensions. He said that he made the film in 3D, because he wants the viewers to feel that the actors — Varun and Shraddha — are dancing in the theatre amidst them.
